About Bass & Taylor
Anna and Ray have been together both Musically and Romantically since around 2009. Now living in North Essex, in the village of Great Bardfield. which nestles in the rolling countryside somewhere between Chelmsford and Cambridge.
Both have been in and out of music for most of their lives and most recently were part of the touring folk band "Two Coats Colder"
From the end of 2020 they will be branching out on their own and will be performing at, Festivals, Folk Clubs and House Concerts as a duo + friends

Anna Bass and Ray Taylor were, for 8 years, the writing team and creators of the touring folk band Two Coats Colder. At the end of 2020 it was decided to bring the full band to its natural ending, with all the band members moving on to full fill their own aims, projects and dreams.
So now here we are in 2022 and Ray & Anna, Oops! I mean Bass & Taylor are looking for a few new fun folky gigs to play at.
WHAT WOULD YOU GET
After touring with the band both are equally at home on large/small stages, folk clubs and house concerts, with sets that includes a few of their own better known Two Coats Colder songs, some newly written material plus some loved folky covers of their favourite artists, such as, Karine Polwart, Mike Silver, Anthony John Clark, Tom Paxton, Joan Baez etc
Equally at home performing either fully acoustic or with a small amp and a couple of mics or indeed a full PA setup
